Meadow Vale Community Centre is based in the heart of Speedwell and managed by a group of volunteers - Meadow Vale Community Association (MVCA) (Charity Number: 1169752).

Since 2019, MVCA has been on a mission to raise nearly £450,000 to build a new hall and other external improvements. There have been many ups and downs along the way - but we're now here and our large hall opened in July 2023. This means we now have two buildings to offer the community - having renovated our smaller hall back in 2018.

The fully-refurbished purpose-built centre offers facilities suitable for a wide variety of uses, groups and activities. All hire fees are used to manage, maintain and invest back into the facilities for the benefit of the local community.

The large hall is a high-ceilinged, light space suitable for a range of groups and sports from badminton, dance and yoga to circuit training, trampolining and volleyball - as well as small family parties and bigger celebrations. It can also be used for meetings or play and support groups and is equipped with a basic kitchen for the provision of refreshments.

Our other hall is equipped with a full service kitchen and has access onto a small courtyard space.

Our car park has allocated room for five cars, including a disabled parking space. There is also on-street parking available nearby.
