We are recruiting new volunteers who would like to get involved in:

* Gardening and helping to develop the outside space as a haven for people and wildlife

* Management of the Charity - we are recruiting new Trustees

* Activities Lead Volunteers - we are recruiting new, local volunteers who are interested in leading groups (for example a weekly coffee morning, toddler group or Knit and Natter group).

* Helping out at events such as Fun Days, a community cafe or Christmas market

If you are enthusiastic, would enjoy meeting new people in your community and would like to get involved in an existing activity or set up AND run a new community group at the centre, please get in touch!

Bushra Majid volunteered to help at our Community Fun Day. She says: "Volunteering at the community centre for the first time was a very fulfilling experience.

"I was excited and nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the moment I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel as part of the team and the community as a whole. I hope to continue volunteering and doing what I can for the community."
